Critical Inquiries in Transgender Studies Project

Nadia Brecl, Grace Edwards, Megan Irvine, Emma Presley, Tracy Weber

Hello and welcome to our project page. We are taking a class called Critical inquiries in Transgender Studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder. For our final project we chose to put together an archive of the past years of the Transforming Gender Conference.

The Transforming Gender Conference was created in 2006 by the Women's Studies Program and the Gender and Sexuality Center (formerly the GLBTQ Resource Center) at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

The 2016 conference had over 500 participants from geographically diverse locations. It consisted of three days of speakers and workshops. It's held annually on Boulder's campus in March.

We wanted to create a lasting resource documenting some key aspects of the past conferences. We hope this information is accessible to all. Please check out the "About Us" tab to learn more about us. Please enjoy the website and contact our e-mail with any questions!
